Accessing and Logging into the Preceptor Portal

To access the Preceptor Portal, you must sign in using your institutional email address and password.

The Preceptor Portal provides access to:

• Your dashboard and assigned tasks
• Weekly and Ad-Hoc Assessments
• Student activity and rotation information
• Patient Logs submitted by students you supervised
• Assessment workflows and feedback tools

Step 1: Open the Preceptor Portal

Open your web browser and navigate to the Preceptor Portal URL provided by your institution or clerkship administrator.

Application URL: preceptor.case.academx.ai

You will be presented with the Preceptor Portal login screen.

Step 2: Enter Your Institutional Email Address

On the login screen:

1. Enter your institutional email address.
2. Click Continue.

The system will verify your account and move you to the password screen.

Step 3: Enter Your Password

After your email address has been verified:

1. Enter your password.
2. Click Sign In.

If required, complete any additional authentication prompts configured by your institution.

Step 4: Access the Preceptor Portal

Once signed in, you will be directed to the Preceptor Portal dashboard.

From the dashboard, you can:

• Review pending assessment requests
• Complete Weekly and Ad-Hoc Assessments
• Review patient logs submitted by students
• Access assigned students and rotations
• Provide feedback and support student development

Forgot Your Password?

If you cannot access your account:

1. Click Forgot your password?
2. Follow the password reset instructions provided by your institution.
